Hello to all the little darlings out there! It is getting HOT here in the Sunshine State, which could only mean one thing -- beach bumming! So, get this, I grew up in the largest landlocked country in the world. Like, there is one lake in the whole country. I'm kidding, but there is not a later water activities to be done. And then I move to Tennessee - a landlocked state. Good thing I found myself a Florida boy to date. This boy taught me how to be a beach bum, how to not drown in the ocean, how to eat seafood, how to find the perfect beach and much more.

I am so excited for summertime and I am especially excited to be doing some summer looks for YOU GUYS! I know there are quite a few festivals coming up as well as spring break and pool parties. I will be planning my looks accordingly and if there is anything specific you would love to see, please let me know.

I have been seeing the off-the-shoulder trend EVERYWHERE. I think at this point most people know that trends tend to come and go. Such is the case for this one. But I think it's here to stay for the summer as well. My blouse is by ASOS. It's slightly cropped, breathy and very comfortable. I paired it earlier today with high-waisted ripped jeans and it looked awesome, too. If you like more of a boho style, you could pair it with a cute maxi skirt.

These denim shorts are from a thrift shop that I found back in Nashville. I've had them for years and I still use them a bunch. There is nothing better than vintage denim.

On a slightly different note, if you noticed, I am becoming more and more comfortable in my own skin. I would never post a picture of my things a few years ago, because I used to compare myself to everyone else and their dog. As I am getting older, I am realizing that it's so silly to compare a body that I was given to someone else's body. Why? I will never look like THAT girl or have THAT figure. And I am okay with that. I have tiger stripes and cellulite and I love it all. Each little thing on my body tells a story - a story of a girl named Aida, who respects herself and accepts herself as she was made in the image of God.

I have been living in these lace-up flats by Zara. They have given me a few blisters, but beauty is pain, eh? If you know a good remedy for blister prevention, please let me know and save me from future pain! Ha!

I am still very much obsessed with these sunnies by Quay Australia. I love the round shape and the rose gold color, especially for the summer, beach (-y) vibes. I now have two pairs by them and it cost me less than $50 for both pairs. Pretty good deal for the quality.

I am still loving layering dainty rings together. I added two rings to my collection. One is from an Etsy shop and it's a little opal ring from the 50's (cost me a little less than $20)  and this turquoise ring that I found at a thrift shop.

I hope you all enjoyed this week's look. I wanted to do something very casual, but also romantic and breezy for the summer. I will be doing more summertime appropriate looks on the blog in the next couple of weeks. Stay cool, loves (temperature wise)!

Hello, World!
