Orlando Fashion Week has was created in August of 2011 and then was trademarked in January of 2012. The President, Tina Bridges, has a heart not only for fashion but also a for charity. She has partnered up with "Assisted Funds", a non-profit organization that helps those in need to get medical help. It's such an amazing way to celebrate our love for fashion.
Orlando Fashion Week was a success in the year 2016. There were a lot of great, talented designers and amazing work showcased as well. I have enjoyed my role as a guest and admirer. I was able to go to a couple of events alongside my blogger friend, Melrose Elise, whose blog decor.elise.com you ALL need to check out -- she's fantastic!
There were some very talented designers whose work was highlighted during the week. I met a few of them and all I can say is that Orlando has some amazing designers! Another very exciting event was hosted by Dechoes Vintage Store (dechoesresale.com)
They put on a super chic show featuring some mouth-watering pieces from their stores. I will be doing a really fun collaboration and YOU should stay tuned for that, just trust me.
Overall, I am so excited to see where Orlando Fashion Week will in the coming years. I, for one, see a very bright future and also for our own fashion enthusiasts and designers located in Orlando. I hope you, too, can join us for some more fashion events. You can learn more at orlandofashionweeks.com or connect with them of Facebook (Orlando Fashion Week).
It was so much fun going to Orlando Fashion Week. I will see you all there next time!
