The air is starting to get crisp here and the leaves are starting to fall to the ground in a beautiful waltz. It is finally starting to feel like fall and I am here for it. Every morning, I wake up and make a strong cup of coffee to take Polo outside. He runs around the park as I sit and enjoy the beautiful change of seasons breathing in the cold air and thanking my lucky stars that I get to live in this majestic state of California. It's definitely becoming my favorite thing to do.

But of course, on the day I decide to shoot three fall looks for the blog, the weather decides to f*** with me and gets up to 84 degrees. So, I really hope you enjoy this looks, because it was brought to you by sweat and tears (literally)!

I am such a creature of habit when it comes to my personal style. Everytime the temps drop, I run to my closet and gran ALL of the hats that I own to try to incorporate them in my daily outfits. It happens every year. I suppose it's my way of welcoming fall. This year I added a few new hats that I am loving so much and I'll be sharing my looks featuring hats very soon. Now for this look, I went completely grunge paying tribute to my youth when I was a little bit of punk rock and a little bit of metal. I used to wear these kinds of looks all the time leaving my mother speechless every morning. Sorry, Mom, it was a "stage" after all. Haha!

I feel like velvet is always a classic choice for fall and winter. It just doesn't go out of style. I paired this statement velvet dress from 7 For All Mankind with their ripped white tee for that street style feel. I also added my Timberland boots that I recently bought for my hiking trip. I still can't seem to stop wearing them. And of course, I added some fishnets to make it super grunge. But the best accessory here is by far the cabby hat from Forever 21. And to complete this look, I added some sunglasses from ZeroUV and a dark lip.

I realize this is not going to be everyone's cup of tea and that's okay. However, I do want to encourage you all to never stop experimenting. There is something so empowering about stepping out of your comfort zone in fashion, food and other things. It's quite refreshing. So this was my attempt to revive my style for fall. God knows I've been getting way too comfortable in my boho dresses. I am so excited for colder weather and I can't wait to share more fall looks with you all very, very soon. Until then, be good and do good.
