As a new California resident, I feel like I've been transitioning into a more casual style. So the whole idea of "less is more" is making a lot more sense these days. It also may have to do with age, now that I am approaching my 30's it is definitely time to refine my style.

One of my favorite pieces to style is hands down DENIM. I love wearing it and styling it and helping women find the right fit. In a perfect world, everything would be denim. I am a strong advocate for good jeans and great fit. I've had my fair share of awful jeans that didn't fit right on my body or didn't flatter my figure. But with years of trial and error, I'd say that I've narrowed it down to the classics. 7 For All Mankind has been one of my favorites for all my denim needs since college. I remember my first pair from them that I scored at Goodwill. It was a pair of bell-bottoms and they were such a perfect fit. And ever since that time, they have been one of myfavorite brands ever.

For this look, I went for all the simple and classic silhouettes and cuts: a pair of flared cropped jeans (very form fitting) a sleeveless turtleneck, which is a perfect thing to wear for this transitional weather we've been having in NorCal. I also added a trendy pop of color for my shoes and a structured doctor bag for a little bit of vintage classic. And to top it all off, I added a wide-brim hat, which I always associate with Fall. I know I'll be repeating this little number for sure. Hope you enjoyed this look. Until next time.

xx,

Aida
