SERENE SOUL + FREE PEOPLE
WELL, HELLO THERE, DARLINGS!
Boy, have I missed doing the #leblog lately. My full-time insta hubby has left me for a few months to do an internship, hence the lack of photos. BUT. I have found an amazing photographer, Suzi Ibanez, whose work is truly incredible. I can't wait to share her work with you in the nearest future starting with this amazing set of pictures.
Are there any fans of American Horror Story out there reading this? Comment your favorite season down below. For me, I'd have to say it was "Coven" in all its bohemian glory and overuse of the color black and smoking thin cigarettes. I loved the season so much, but even more so I absolutely adored the costume design of the season. It was REALLY thought out in terms of historical accuracy, trendiness, accessories -- everything, basically. Well, what I'm trying to say is that the inspiration for this look came from re-watching "Coven" on Netflix a few weeks ago. I was watching the episode where Stevie Nicks makes an appearance, And she is the ultimate bohemian QUEEN! Anyway, I was so inspired that I had to find the "quintessential" bohemian dress. I had this Free People "Love Child" dress from last year (it's currently on SALE for $59.20!!!) and I got a pair of boots from FP for this year. So, together this look is literally all Free People (free advertisement here). But really, I genuinely love all of their clothing. I think a dress like this is perfect because it allows you to move around freely and adds a feminine silhouette as well. It's also a great dress to wear during the awkward transitional stage from summer into fall, especially if you live in a colder place. I would even suggest adding some black tights to the look if the weather allows. I have realized one thing with age, no matter what you choose to wear there will always be that one certain style/piece that you go back to. So for me that is dead on a boho look. What's yours? I'd love to know. Until we e-meet next time, stay wild and love yourself.
